Aaron Allen is a senior nonresident fellow at the Center for European Policy Analysis and an international affairs lecturer, teaching at Bard College Berlin, Duke University, the University of Notre Dame, Humboldt University, and Freie Universität Berlin. He recently served as a National Security Fellow with the Robert Bosch Stiftung, working for the German Coordinator of Transatlantic Cooperation in the Bundestag and the Auswärtiges Amt. Previously, he was a Senior Foreign Policy Advisor and Committee Professional Staff Member in the U.S. House of Representatives and founded the Foreign Affairs Congressional Staff Association. He holds a B.A. in History and Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley, and M.A. degrees in Security Studies from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service and in Defense and Strategic Studies from the U.S. Naval War College.
