Corbin Cerny is a second-year Master of Public Policy student and Master of Data Science student on the '2+1' academic track. As a student at Hertie, he serves on the Centre for Digital Governance Student Advisory Board and is a co-president of the Hertie Climbing Club. In tandem to his studies, he is currently working as a student research assistant with Climate Analytics, focusing on the decarbonisation of hard-to-abate sectors. Previously, he was a project assistant with J.E. Austin Associates, helping to manage a global portfolio of projects covering agribusiness, digitalisation, trade, economic development, and sustainable transportation. Corbin completed his undergraduate studies in political science at George Mason University in Virginia. Before coming to Hertie, he worked in the diplomacy and international development sectors in Washington, D.C.
Outside of Hertie and his work, Corbin enjoys rock climbing, long-distance cycling, live concerts, and following American Major League Baseball.
