Jannik Hochleitner is a second-year MPP student at the Hertie School in Berlin. He currently completes his studies as part of the GPPN Dual Degree in the MPA program at Columbia SIPA. During his professional year, he worked for the Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs (BMAS) regarding topics about the social dimension of climate and environmental policy. Previously, he worked as intern for the Federation of German Industries (BDI), as working student for a political startup and as intern for consultancy firms, mainly for public sector clients. Before joining the Hertie School, he received his undergraduate degree in Economics at the University of Hamburg and his postgraduate degree in Environmental Economics and Climate Change from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).
