Toni Kaatz-Dubberke is a political scientist and journalist. Since 2009, he has been working in projects of international cooperation in different positions and multiple countries together with Asian and African city administrations and ministries as well as with civil society and the private sector. He also researched as Senior Analyst on national artificial intelligence (AI) strategies at the US-based AI consulting start-up Cambrian Group. Toni currently works as seconded advisor to the European Commission’s Directorate General for International Partnerships (DG-INTPA). At the Hertie School, he completed the Executive Master of Public Administration programme in 2019. Since 2023, he is teaching the project course “Digital Development Cooperation” in partnership with the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH.
