Aditya Narayan Rai is a Research Associate at the Centre for Sustainability. His research focuses on the application of machine learning techniques to evidence synthesis in climate politics. Before joining the Centre, he worked as a Student Research Assistant with the Evidence for Climate Solutions team at the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research, where he contributed to machine learning–assisted systematic reviews on the impacts of climate change on health and on behavioral interventions aimed at reducing household energy consumption. He has also worked in India for over four years on mixed-methods research projects across the education, livelihoods, and skill development sectors. Aditya holds a Master’s in Public Policy and Governance from Azim Premji University and a Master’s in Data Science for Public Policy from the Hertie School, Berlin.
