Alejandro is a visiting professor at the College of Europe, the European Diplomatic Academy (both in Bruges), and Hertie School (Berlin). Since 2004, he has designed and facilitated EU negotiation simulations on legislative processes and international crises (CFSP/CSDP), as well as models on the WTO and UN Security Council. He has taught at The Graduate Institute (Geneva) and MGIMO (Moscow), and worked extensively with public administrations, including Council presidency training for Belgium and Poland, and programs for the UK’s HMT and Bank of England. He has trained officials from Czechia, Slovakia, Latvia, Estonia, Catalonia, and EU candidate countries like Ukraine, Serbia, and Georgia. He has led programs for Latin American diplomats (e.g. Colombia, Chile), and for non-EU countries and organizations (Azerbaijan, Algeria, GCC). He studied in Barcelona and Paris, and holds master’s degrees from the College of Europe and SOAS. He has published on EU institutions and foreign policy.
