Letitia Roman is a Hertie School alumna (MIA '21) with expertise in international security, focusing on the climate-conflict nexus, EU foreign and security policy, nuclear safety, and interstate negotiations. At the IPLI Foundation, she designed policy simulations on global challenges, including the dynamics of misinformation, Arctic cooperation, and trade disputes.
Building on this experience, she founded PolSim, an initiative to create gamified policy and negotiation simulations on security issues. Her project transforms abstract policy concepts into interactive learning experiences that enable stakeholders to navigate complex geopolitical scenarios. Her work combines academic rigour with application, offering innovative approaches to understanding security issues through experiential learning.
