Sabrina is an expert in energy, climate and international security policy. She is the Germany Director of the European Initiative for Energy Security, an Associate Fellow at the German Council on Foreign Relations and Adjunct at Hertie School.
After her doctoral research in the field of international security, she started her career in the climate field as a climate diplomat with the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office. She is also the founding director of the Berlin office of E3G - Third Generation Environmentalism.
Sabrina served as Head of the Berlin office at KfW; as the Executive Director of the Sustainable Development Solutions Network Germany; and she worked as a Co-CEO in a ClimateTech start-up.
She received her Master and PhD in International Politics from the University of Wales at Aberystwyth. She also holds an MA in Public Policy and Management from the University of Potsdam, for which she also studied at the University of Konstanz and the Université catholique de Louvain.
