Our offer is comprised of seminars on crisis and change management, leadership, public sector innovation, digital transformation, artificial intelligence and many more. Registration is possible throughout the year, with most courses taking place on an annual basis. Our executive seminars introduce professionals to current practices in public management, leadership, and governance. They allow them to sharpen their skills and offer a forum for exchange at the interface of the public, private, and non-profit sectors. Participants are introduced to the main academic concepts in a specific field, as well as their practical application. They work on case studies and discuss phenomena against the background of their own experience.
Our skills training help participants attain up-to-date knowledge and develop useful skills that can be directly applied in the workplace.
The Berlin Workshop allows participants to experience the German machinery of government and policy-making first-hand and interact with experts, policy-makers, and practitioners working in and for the German government system. The Brussels Workshop familiarises participants with European decision-making and includes meetings with high-level representatives from European institutions, associations, NGOs, and companies.

Executive certificates
If you are interested in more than one course, it may be worthwhile to consider taking one of our executive certificates. Executive certificates provide a practical solution for professionals seeking to improve their skills and expand their network. By combining selected seminars, you can choose between seven Hertie School certificates and two certificates in cooperation with ESCP Europe.
Each certificate requires participants to successfully complete three seminars/workshops and one skills training. To successfully complete a certificate programme, participants complete seminar grading requirements and follow-up assignments. With a certificate, participants earn 11 ECTS (European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System) credits.

- Executive Seminars (3 days): 2,590 euros per seminar
- Skills Training (2 days): 2,490 euros per seminar
- Workshops (4 days): 3,990 euros per seminar
- Executive Certificates (9-12 days/4 courses) 8,800 euros per certificate (9,890 euros if certificate includes a workshop)
